Rusters Sunday market is from farm, organic and environmentally friendly.

It’s every sunday

Little did you know that inside our joglo-inspired Eatery and Sunset Bar, there’s a hidden Jazz Club that opens twice a month, showcasing Jazz musicians from varied backgrounds and dynamic performances over colorful cocktails, small bites, and creative conversations. Keeping it New York style ––our 2nd set is often an open jam session for those who try out their solos on our tropical alcove.

It’s every second Friday 6 to 8 PM.

INDIGO WORKSHOPS by Takayuki Ishii

March 2024

Takayuki Ishii is an indigo dye artisan who was born in Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. He currently owns a workshop in the mountainous area of Kanagawa Prefecture, where he runs an indigo dyeing company using traditional techniques and materials.

Currently, there are only six artisans who produce raw material for indigo dye (sukumo) in Japan. The aging of the Japanese population has made it more difficult to obtain sukumo every year, which is a complicated problem in the Japanese textile industry. Takayuki grows the indigo plants and produces sukumo by himself to preserve the traditional method of indigo dyeing. He passes on his knowledge to many people and works hard to preserve the traditional way of Japanese textile dyeing.

We are delighted to announce that we will be hosting three workshops in March 2024 with Japanese Indigo master, Takayuki Ishii
